Spain is well known with its artists especially painting and literature. It influenced the whole World and left behind many important works which are very famous. We can say the 17th century was the Golden Age for the Spanish Culture. Mainly painters like Velázquez, El Greco, Goya, Ribera and writers such as Cervantes (Don Quichotte), Erauso and Quevedo shaped the importance of art in Spain. During those times the cities Madrid, Seville and Valladolid were the active center and many artists were swarming to these cities.

In addition to painting and literature, architecture is also an important chain in the Spanish Art Jewel necklace.
Antonio Gaudi, a Catalan architect which was born in 1852 and died in 1926, had an interesting and extraordinary style of shaping stones and giving them a different sense to get a life. His distinctive style was characterized by Organic Unity. He used every item so that it became an Marvelous Work combined with Vivid Colors. Unusual textures, symbols and colors shaped by his ideas which are reflecting his inner deep. The main part of his career he was occupied with creating and constructing "The Temple of the Holy Family" the Sagrada Familia.
