The Three Giants of Knidos

Looks like three giants from Marvel Studios are posing for a new movie. Two women and a man in the lead roles preparing themselves for an action full new adventure film. Who knows what they will face in the scenery and will challenge the upcoming next.
When you are at sunset time in the ruins of Knidos, an ancient site in Turkey, you would also have the chance to shoot a photo like this. You will be also shocked by the importance of the site because many famous people lived here and with the influence of the location and landscape, they gave important work to mankind.
The location of this ancient city has been chosen in such a place that you can see the sunset every day without any obstacles in front of you. The Tekir Burnu (Cape Tekir) which is called by Turkish citizens gives you the opportunity to be in one straight line with the Sunset, the Sea, and Yourself. From any place or location of the city, every street goes directly to the beach where you will have a lot of time to countdown when it is time for sunset.
So, take your friends or your lover and open a bottle of red or white wine. The people who are coming and enjoying the last sun rays of the day are doing it like having a ceremony by drinking and having a nice evening talk. By the way, don't forget to take your professional camera but as everybody nowadays knows the cellphones are able to shoot also very professional photos. I took the photos with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro though I was low on battery because of the long day, but managed it quite well.

Historians are mentioning that many civilizations have hosted here in Knidos. The Greek Historian Diodorus Siculus claims that Knidos (Cnidus) was by both Lacedaemonians and Argives hosted. After the Romans, the Byzantine Empire has reined here a while which can be seen from the structures made in byzantine style.
The city has access from the land (east side), the only roadway of the present time is from Datca district a province of Mugla, Turkey. The other entrance is from the seaside which is from the west. Because of having such a location, the economy of Knidos was based on agriculture and sea. Being an important harbor in the region let Knidos became an important place. Another importance of the location is that this place is situated where the Aegean and Mediterranean are separated.
The city was an important commercial center and with the strongness of the economy, it attracted commercial people, academic persons, and artists. Therefore, the plenty of commerce let people come to Knidos and with the increase of the population, it became the home of a famous medical school and a site observatory of the great ancient mathematician and astronomer Eudoxus.
The site excavation of Knidos began in 1812 by C.T. Newton, thanks to him and his team many important arts, which are still illuminating that specific time period, were brought to light. The excavation is still going on and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Turkey is given important support for it.

In addition, Praxiteles, which lived during the 4th-century BCE, was one of the most famous and original Greek artists and the greatest sculptor.
Praxiteles made many artistic objects and was very famous for treating marble. Among many objects, he has done the most known and beautiful piece of his works was the Aphrodite of Knidos which he made especially for the city Knidos.
The Statue of Aphrodite made for Knidos perished and can not be found, sure it is in hands of a collector but late copies exist of the masterpiece and the most marvelous existing one is Vatican City's Museum.
