Copenhagen

Denmark is a country in Scandinavia Region and is south of Norway and southwest of Sweden. The main part of the country is Jutland, a peninsula north of Germany, including the two major ones, Zealand and Funen, in Ostersoen Sea between Jutland and Sweden. The capital city is Copenhagen which has a population of 1.15 million. Other important cities of Denmark are Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg, Frederiksberg.


Copenhagen Havn District

Nyhavn was originally a the commercial port of Copenhagen where ships from all over the world were docking. The district was packed with sailors, ladies of pleasure, pubs and alehouses. Today the colorful old houses have been renovated and restaurants are dominating the old port.

Royal Palaces

Amalienborg Palace

Amalienborg Palace is a must see place for anyone with a taste for royal history and the life of Denmark’s Royal Family who still resides inside the palace. For noble families daily use was built this palace. The rooms are open to public though it is still residence of the royal family.


The Royal Family moved in to Amalienborg due to the fire damage of Christianborg Palace in 1794.

Christiansborg Palace

Christiansborg Palace is located on the tiny island of Slotsholmen. The Danish Parliament Folketinget, the Supreme Court, and the Ministry of State. The history of the palace goes back over 800 years. The Royal Family uses some parts of the palace for various functions and events.

Seaside of Denmark

The edge of the cliff is 267 meters long where everybody has access to the spectacular view. The white chalk cliffs make a wonderful view and expresses itself with the sun in the green ocean.
